I don’t get too emotional and speak of the lasting value of the portraits, though I intensely believe it.
Here is a story about a friend of mine who gave a tremendous gift of photography to someone.

Soon we will be placing a display in the Findlay Village Mall. This display will be located in the main hallway near the Buckle and Bath and Body Works.
Many of the seniors that we have had the opportunity to photograph will be featured here. Check often for updates.
Now that it has finally turned into fall weather, we begin to think about the coming winter. This set was custom designed right here at the studio. Our talented frame guru (Erik Davis) hand painted the scene.
My daughter eagerly posed for the image. We will be offering this in January, but it will be a very limited time frame. You are welcome to schedule in advance.
I am not being proud with the title, but Andrew shares the same last name as a very famous baseball player. (He isn’t related – so no free tickets).
In sessions the goal is get as much into an image as possible. That is it captures as much of the person as possible. Images don’t get to talk – it is all in what you see. This image says alot. We created this one as a black and white as well, but I liked the depth of the color here.
We love to keep our information up to date. We will soon be mailing an announcement to everyone in our database. If you would like to get a head start, go to www.keepsakeportraits.info and update your information.
This will insure that you get all the necessary information for you and your family. Specials and announcements will be included.
Last thursday it was my birthday, how did I celebrate? Working. Not a bad thing, you try not to think of birthdays after you have at least 30
I was hoping that the seniors coming in that day afford me the opportunity to create some artistic pieces. These three girls did just that. They brought plenty of outfits and great variety.
Thanks for making my birthday fun !

Just in case you are wondering. I did have a great birthday weekend (why only celebrate one day – right!?!)
It was a tough week for so many in Findlay, including my own family. Our next newsletter will give more details. Basically we lost very little property and only our unfinished basement took on water. So many lost much more.
For the artist in me it was a bit like the winter, ready to get back at taking portraits. Levi came with plenty of great outfits, but the one I wanted to post was this image of the quarterback.
We are surrounded on four sides by water at our home. We will be closed Wednesday August 22.
We are dry and should stay that way, but our prayers are with those who are affected by the flooding.
Seems like yesterday that I was putting together a slideshow of images of AnnaGrace in the hospital right after she was born. Now, it is the first day of school.
Emotional? Yes. It is hard to believe these years have flown by. The first day was not without event though. Over 8 inches of rain in the last 24 hours had area roads flooded so she had a two hour delay.
Here she is peeking into her new classroom.![]()

We did this portrait at the studio before we headed out to school
I have been amazed at the number of portrait session that we have had the opportunity to do. August is nearly 100% full.
Here are just a few select images from some recent session that I found to be great fun. Allison came prepared for some serious track pictures and she should – she is a serious track star. This is just a small collection of her extensive track awards.
